One day in August 2015,  Terrence Halloran took his granddaughter Celia (age 8) to Raging Waters in San Dimas, the largest water park in Southern California. Together they rode these rides, some of them several times.

Celia was fearless and delighted. Grandpa was scared.


Dark Hole

Dark Hole incorporates two 500-foot long fiberglass flumes, with an overall drop of 52 feet. It was the first two-person raft adventure ride through total darkness in the country.

Dragonís Den

This two-person bowl slide is the newest wave in slide design and technology. Guests jump into a two-person inner tube, shoot down a 45-foot-drop through a fully enclosed flume, spin around a 35 foot bowl, all while a 9-foot mist-breathing dragon watches closely from above as riders slide their way to the safety of the pool below.
